Brainstorming for a Senior project, I was listening to my family talk about what they would like in a Minecraft game and the thoughts began to roll.
In the end, what began as graphics for an add on turned into a branding of Village Square Chronicles.
Each adventure is an add-on that not only adds new items to inventory, the villagers also take you through a sometimes wild and humorous Point-and-Click adventure.
They explore the world of
Common Phrases,
Useless Facts,
 American Idioms,
and how frequent they are in our everydays lives.
Chronicles In The Works:
The Butcher, Baker, Candlemaker, and the Missing Librarian

Show on the Road
Welcome to Village Square. Where the stories come to life in an interesting kind of way.
Gossip at the bell talks of stories near and far: heroes that were saved and dragons that were rescued, recipes collected and shared, not to mention all the fun facts they seek share with anyone that will listen.
Inside this village resides a cornucopia of personalities. Of course everyone had a trade, but within that passion lies the urge to make a new friend and share the wealth of knowledge.
When the opportunity arose to create a magazine, building the brand of the Village Square was first in mind.
The purpose was not to copy other magazines, but to create one as if it came from the town villagers themselves.

In the chronicles, such as ...the Missing Librarian, the story line plays out and the player inadvertently helps the Villagers find their friend.
The personas of the characters will make little spot in your heart by the end of the game, leaving you wanting the next game.

Blockbench rendering of NPC skins - in order: Baker, Candlemaker, Butcher, Librarian

Each NPC will have a special item that is key to several of their recipes. Follow along with the fun, yet informative, storytelling to progress in the game.
